Founded in 1998, TelPlexus, LLC. provides engineering for all facets of the communications industry, including Broadband Passive Optical Networks (BPON), Gigabit Passive Optical Networks (GPON) and Active Broadband Designs for Triple Play Requirements in FTTx and FTTN networks. TelPlexus' team provides extensive consultation solutions that include design and build-out of operations as well as state-of-the-art Asset Location Mapping services that aid companies in GPS and GIS integration for easy network management and maintenance.

TelPlexus clients include independent telephone companies participating in the Rural Utility Service (RUS) loan program (ILECs), long distance carriers, CLECs, CATV providers, wireless providers and state and local governments.

We invest in state-of-the-art equipment and training and occasionally incorporate technologies not specific to the communications industry.

We’ve found that exploring other industries is beneficial when looking at introducing new ways of performing an old task. For example, we’ve incorporated the many uses of aerial photography as well as LiDAR technology into our day-to-day order of business. This technology yields real world asset location information and enables data to be extracted and combined in varying uses. While these technologies are prevalent in the GIS industry, TelPlexus has incorporated these technologies to all facets of our engineering processes in order to provide a product to our clients that will not only serve them today, but tomorrow as well.
